public class Jackson3Serializer extends Object implements Serializer
Serializer implementation that uses Jackson 3 to serialize objects into a JSON format. Although the Jackson serializer requires classes to be compatible with this specific serializer, it provides much more compact serialization, while still being human-readable.

    • builder

      public static Jackson3Serializer.Builder builder()
      Instantiate a Builder to be able to create a Jackson3Serializer.

      The RevisionResolver is defaulted to an AnnotationRevisionResolver, the Converter to a ChainingConverter and the ClassLoader to the ClassLoader of this class.

      Upon instantiation, an ObjectMapper will be created with the MetaDataDeserializer registered to it. Lastly, if the provided converter is of type ChainingConverter, the registerConverters(org.axonframework.serialization.ChainingConverter) is performed to automatically add the JsonNodeToByteArrayConverter and ByteArrayToJsonNodeConverter.

      Indicates whether this Serializer is capable of serializing to the given expectedRepresentation.

      When true, this does *not* guarantee that the serialization and (optional) conversion will also succeed when executed. For example, when a serializer produces a byte[] containing JSON, trying to convert to a Dom4J Document will fail, even though this serializer has a converter to convert byte[] to Dom4J instances.
